Master Your Art Seminar
I was granted the honor of coordinating the first (of many) Master Your Art Seminars. Co-owner of Prospect Park Restaurants, Turkey Leg Hut and Engine Room Nightclub (also my boss for my day job) decided to host a series for young entrepeneurs, and anybody looking for insights from successful business persons. This series had special guests: lifestyle specialist, Kenny Burns; Brand Ambassador, Mikos, and Uncle Nearest Whiskey Owner __.
Primary Takeaways:
While the venue was beautiful one major takeaway from this event is that we will DEFINITELY need a larger venue for the next seminar. I would like a venue with a courtyard because of the cocktail outdoor element but I would like to host the next event primarily indoors so as not to be subject to the weather elements. I would also like to have a more visual element added to the presentations in the next seminar, both videos and keynote presentations. One positive takeaway was having a special guest with a wide resume to open up the conversation from the accolades that Junior Martins had. Another positive takeaway was the way we marketed the event to entrepreneurs and business persons, we were able to grab an audience of people who were both engaged and inspired by the message.
Branding
Uncle Nearest Whiskey was the liquor sponsor for the event. In addition to sponsoring the event, because of Kenny Burns ties to the company, the event actually served as the initial product launch. I set up very heavy branding during the event, putting together gift bags with coasters, shot glasses and recipe books, some of which are pictured here. We also had extra coasters and shot glasses out for branding purposes.
SPecial Guest
Lifestyle specialist Kenny Burns was our guest speaker for this Master Your Art seminar. He started as the lifestyle specialist for Sean "Diddy" Combs but has grown his trade since to be a lifestyle specialist for large brands and major projects in addition to public speaking.
